PADI Master Scuba Diver
PADI MASTER SCUBA DIVER COURSE – 1-2 weeks, Age 15+ (or 12+ for Junior Certification)
The Master Scuba Diver rating is the ultimate certification for recreational divers. It indicates you have a significant amount of training and experience in a variety of dive environments.

Reach for the top – the Master Scuba Diver level is the pinnacle of recreational diver training in the PADI System of diver education.
What will I learn?
Your learning will be dive based at Lanta‘s Top Dive Sites, and will vary depending on your previous diving experience and the Speciality Courses you choose to take.
To achieve the rating of PADI Master Scuba Diver, you must have logged at least 50 scuba dives and completed the following PADI courses:
- Open Water Diver (or equivalent)
- Advanced Open Water Diver (or equivalent)
- Rescue Diver (or equivalent)
- Five PADI Specialty Diver Courses (or equivalent)
The great thing about this course is that it’s all about diving and taking your diving into new and exciting directions!

No one said prestige was easy to come by, but it’s well worth the effort. As a PADI Master Scuba Diver the experience you gain will give you a new level of confidence, whether you are diving shipwrecks, photographing colourful coral reefs or exploring exciting dive destinations around the world!
The PADI Master Scuba Diver certification is the highest recreational level in the PADI system of diver education. But, you don’t have to stop there! You can continue on to become a PADI Professional. As a Master Scuba Diver you’ll be well qualified to begin your training as a PADI Divemaster.
How often do you run courses?
Courses start every day, at around 8.00am. You can book now, or come in to see see us while you’re here.
We run courses in English, German, Swedish, & Thai. We run semi-supported courses in Norwegian, Danish, French, Finnish, Spanish & Dutch. Please let us know if you require course materials in another language and we will order them for you.
How much does it cost?
Please contact us to finalise a price for this course. It will depend on which PADI Speciality Courses you choose to take, and how many logged dives you already have.
On the dive boats, we supply breakfast, lunch, drinking water, soft drinks and fruit. We also provide a selection of fruit juices, and towels on each trip.
