Short on time? In just two days the PADI Scuba Diver Course will give you a license to dive to a max depth of 12m, anywhere in the world
as long as you’re accompanied by a certified PADI Dive Professional.

The PADI Scuba Diver course is designed to take you through the first part of the Open Water course and leads to a limited certification, which can be upgraded at any time, to the full Open Water certification.

What will I Learn in the PADI Scuba Diver Course?
You’ll gain the essential skills, experience and knowledge to make your diving safe and fun, as well as a limited licence to dive anywhere in the world, for the rest of your life. This 2 day course includes academic training, self-study sessions, pool work and 2 open water dives. You’ll learn how to assemble and take care of your equipment and complete skills both in the swimming pool and in open water.

Your dives are limited to a maximum depth of 12 m. You will be under the direct supervision of a PADI Instructor at all times.

Who can participate?
If you’re aged 10+, in general good health and fitness, and are not suffering from a cold or ear infection, you should be eligible to enrol on the PADI Scuba Diver Course.

How often do you run courses?
Courses start every day, at around 9.00am. You can book now, or come in to see see us while you’re on holiday in Ko Lanta. We offer free transfers to and from your resort in Ko Lanta for any of our dive courses or daily dive trips.

We run courses in English, German, Swedish, & Thai. We run semi-supported courses in Norwegian, Danish, Finnish, Spanish, French & Dutch. Please let us know if you require course materials in another language and we will order them for you.

How much does it cost?
The price is 11,900 THB. At Narima Diving, all our scuba certification courses include manuals, scuba diving equipment rental and even a free t-shirt! For the Scuba Diver program you’ll receive the PADI Open Water Diver Manual, log book and waterproof zip bag. In addition, we teach all of our diver level courses in small groups to ensure that you receive the attention that you deserve. All our courses are taught in strict adherence to PADI Standards and prices include PADI certification fees.

On the dive boats, we supply breakfast, lunch, drinking water, soft drinks and fruit. We also provide a selection of fruit juices and towels on each trip.

How many people are in each group?
We keep group sizes small to ensure you receive maximum benefit from your tuition (maximum 4 students per Instructor). This also minimises negative impact on the reefs. Our emphasis is on safety, fun and personal service within a relaxed and stress-free environment.
