Ko Haa’s central Lagoon area is ideal for beginner divers and snorkellers and provides a safe, nursery-area for many juvenile fish species.
The Lagoon offers a shallow and relaxed starting point for you to take your first underwater breaths. Meet ‘Porkie’ the friendly Porcupine Puffer Fish, spot Ghost Pipefish and Octopus and look out for Hawksbill Turtles that are often seen swimming amongst the pristine coral. Manta Rays, Marble Rays, Eagle Rays and even Whale Sharks are spotted here occasionally.
The Lagoon is also ideal for all kinds of underwater photography – especially macro photography.
