What is eLearning?

e-learning is online learning at your own pace, in your own space. You review materials, and learn using a variety of online multimedia such as text, graphics, animations, photos, videos and voice-overs until you feel confident to take the appropriate tests and exam online.

With PADI e-Learning options, you will affiliate with a dive school, Narima Diving (be aware our company name will show as Scubafish), when registering. Narima Diving’s instructors then answer any questions or difficulties you may have with a particular subject or module, and support your online learning.

Imagine arriving on the tropical island of Ko Lanta and having virtually no classroom sessions, being able to go straight to the fun bit…the diving!

The PADI eLearning course has an additional cost of US$120 per person. This gives you access to the online knowledge development program for one year in which to complete the course from when you start, and lifetime access to the PADI Open Water Diver Manual online.

In essence, this allows you to start your Open Water training online, so you can complete all the theory and final exam before you come on holiday and save valuable holiday time!

The part of the course you would then take in Ko Lanta is reduced from 4 days to 2.5 days.




• Day 1: You will hand in your eLearning completion record and meet you instructor for a quick review. Then it’s into the pool to practice some confined water skills, and learn how to assemble your scuba unit.
• Day 2: Open Water Dives 1 & 2.
• Day 3: Open Water Dives 3 & 4.

Narima Diving offer a discounted rate to complete just the practical part of the course, here in Ko Lanta.
