Narima Restaurant
Narima Restaurant
Narima’s large, airy restaurant provides the central focus of your stay. With its breathtaking, high-ceiling, traditional Thai grass-woven roof, stunning views over Narima’s private bay and hand carved wooden furniture, it is a place to relax and read a book as much as somewhere to sample some of Thailand’s fabulous cuisine.
The Narima Restaurant is a place to socialise, enjoy the cool breeze rolling in from the sea during the evenings, drink cocktails, and of course, to tuck into the fantastic array of Thai and European food, creatively prepared by Narima’s professionally trained chefs.
The menu offers a wonderful variety of food, from light snacks and salads, to a full à la Carte menu. The tempting appetisers, delicious Thai curries and fragrant salads are reknowned throughout Lanta.
Only the freshest local ingredients are used to prepare your food. Many dishes can be altered to suit your taste and we have a large range of vegetarian dishes on the menu. Almost every dish on the menu can be vegeterian if you wish. (Vegetable in Thai is ‘Pak’).

A trip to Ko Lanta is not complete without sampling some of the delicious, fresh seafood that is on offer. Narima’s chef’s visit the fish and vegetable markets each day to buy the freshest ingredients.
The restaurant is filled with a fantastic collection of rustic wooden furniture. It comes from the northern provinces of Thailand and is made from re-claimed and recycled heavy wood, such as – old cart-wheels and railway sleepers. Some items are made from whole trees.
Yodchai’s impressive DVD and CD collection is housed in a huge cupboard made from a whole tree trunk. There are well over 300 movies to choose from which you can watch on the huge communal TV in the restaurant.

Narima’s 5 Island Bar is located on the beach under the shade of a large tree. It is named after Ko Haa, which means ‘Five Islands’ in Thai and can be seen on the horizon from the bar.
The Bar is constructed in the same natural style as the rest of the resort, and has plenty if cushions and several hammocks struck up amongst the branches of the trees.
During the day, the bar is a cool and shady place to relax, read a book or enjoy a long cool drink. Light meals and snacks are served all day and you can order your evening meal to be served in the relaxed setting of the bar. Sunsets are truly spectacular every evening as the sun melts over the horizon behind Ko Haa.
The terraced swimming pool is on three levels, with sundecks overlooking the beach. On the highest level there is a jacuzzi whirlpool tub with a large seat and great views of the ocean and beach. The main pool gently slopes to a maximum depth of 1.8m. The child pool is at a lower level just off the beach.
The pools are filled with sweet, fresh, water from Lanta’s mountain springs, which is filtered by Narima’s own water filtration system, and then gently chlorinated.
The large main pool has an infinity view out to sea and onto the horizon. There is a wide step the length of the pool, which is perfect for reading a book on. The lower level has a small, shallow children’s pool.
